SPALDING UTD U16S 5 GUNTHORPE U16S 4: Unbeaten Spalding clinched the league title with three games to play.
The young Tulips soon gained control of the game and stormed into a 2-0 lead thanks to a double from Liam French.
A controversial penalty saw Gunthorpe reduce the deficit, but two more Spalding goals made it 4-1 at the break.
Amazingly, Gunthorpe then battled back to make it 4-4 in the dying seconds.
Spalding had other ideas though, with Jake Bellamy powering home a late header from a corner to dramatically seal the league crown.

League leaders March edged out Spalding in a real thriller.
Keegan Waters put the Tulips ahead, only for the hosts to level before the break. A penalty then put March ahead, but Brandon Hall hauled Spalding level once again.
Two more home goals saw the young Tulips fall further behind, before a great strike from Waters reduced the arrears in the closing stages.

Kieran Hamilton fired a late leveller to bag Pinchbeck a deserved point.
Layton Maddison struck the post early on as United started well, but Yaxley went ahead with their first attempt on 20 minutes.
Pinchbeck soon levelled when Ben Lawrence provided the cross for Tom Hebblewhite to tap home.
With the second half played in driving rain, Yaxley upped their game and forced Ollie Green into two super saves before going 2-1 up.
That’s how it stayed up until the final two minutes, when Hamilton bulldozed his way through to drill home.

Holbeach gained a measure of revenge on cup conquerers Wyberton with an impressive 2-0 triumph.
After an evenly-matched opening 20 minutes, the young Tigers went ahead from a corner when Callum McKeown ghosted into the box and buried a lovely volley.
Stefan Gostic and team-mate Davis then missed very good chances as Holbeach took control of the game.
The points were then sealed when Josh Lawrence put a brilliant ball in from the right for Brandon England to smash in a wicked left-footed strike.
That settled the game, with the entire Holbeach team named man-of-the-match.

Dons booked their place in the final of the Bryan Smith Cup with an impressive win over Mid Lincs B League high flyers Greenbank.
Their early domination was soon rewarded when a fine passing move involving Harvey Wirkowski and Mason Shores ultimately created an opportunity for Luke Scampion to fire them into the lead with his 21st goal of the season.
Any early nerves about playing in a semi-final were further settled down shortly afterwards when Tyler McKendrick hit a cross-shot against the Greenbank crossbar and Scampion was again on hand to blast in his second goal to double the lead.
A third goal followed before the break when Dons were awarded a free kick deep in the Greenbank half and Langford cleverly spotted a gap at the near post and hit a low drive into the net.
