A massive 35 points may separate Boston Town and leaders Holbeach United in the UCL Premier Division – but John Chand is expecting a tough test in tonight’s (Tuesday) Tattershall Road derby (7.45pm).
The Tigers could be nine points clear at the summit come 9.30pm. But no quarter is likely to be given by a Poachers side that held Holbeach 0-0 at Carter’s Park back in October.
Tigers chief Chand, who is without left back Adam Jackson, said: “I don’t imagine Boston would ever make it easy for us. They’ve struggled a bit, but I know they’ll want to beat us.
“We look forward to these games too – and have a real chance to go nine clear.”
