PEOPLE who access health and social care support in the county are being asked for their views on a new service being launched to represent their views.
HealthWatch for Lincolnshire will give people the chance to make comments about the services they have experienced or report concerns about the quality of health and social care to HealthWatch England which can recommend the Care Quality Commission to take action.
Coun Sue Woolley, executive councillor for health, housing and community, said: “We want to get as many responses as possible to ensure that HealthWatch for Lincolnshire is set up to support people in the most effective way. Umbrella organisations should send information to all members to get their views.
“It’s important that people have access to support where they can reflect their views about services and share concerns if necessary. HealthWatch for Lincolnshire will be the vehicle for this.”
