A NEW hearing date has been fixed for a police application to revoke the premises licence at The Chequers Hotel, Holbeach, following their complaints about alleged assaults and under-age drinking,
South Holland’s licensing panel will meet at South Holland District Council offices in Priory Road, Spalding, at 9.30am on Wednesday, April 11.
The licence is held by The Chequers Hotel Ltd and directors are husband and wife Mark and Chony Andrews.
One of the police complaints concerns assaults on two men at the hotel last June and allegations that the publicans were unhelpful to investigating officers.
Two previous dates have been set for the hearing but it has been adjourned each time.
