HOLBEACH was the coldest place in Britain over the weekend as temperatures dropped to -15.6C during Friday night.
The cold weather caused some problems for residents as water pipes froze and roads became ice rinks.
But the forecast for this week gives a much warmer outlook, with the temperature possibly reaching double figures by Friday, and hopefully staying above freezing every night.
The temperature in Spalding this morning is 3C and is expected to reach 6C later in the day.
