Bourne Town v Holbeach United (tonight, 7.45pm): A PLACE in the Lincs FA Senior Trophy final is up for grabs at the Abbey Lawn tonight as an old rivalry is renewed.
Bourne and Holbeach haven’t met since the Wakes were demoted from the UCL Premier Division back in 2010.
Since then, the Tigers have kicked on to be a top three side in the Premier Division, while Bourne currently find themselves in the lower reaches of UCL Division One.
Holbeach boss John Chand, a former assistant manager at the Abbey Lawn, is demanding a performance from his side in the semi-final.
He said: “Nothing but a win is acceptable for me.
“Bourne will fancy their chances after seeing our result at the weekend though – and I see they’ve been in fine form of late.”
Bourne go into the game off the back of a cracking 2-1 triumph at Northampton ON Chenecks at the weekend.
Stuart Lambie (40) put the Darren Munton’s men ahead, before Alex Brockbank fired a dramatic late winner from the penalty spot. Elliott Muddiman had levelled (67).
The final will be held at Lincoln City’s Sincil Bank in April.
