In-form Moulton Harrox closed the gap on Peterborough Premier Division leaders Peterborough Sports to just six points in emphatic style on Saturday.

Harrox made it six league wins on the trot with a 5-0 win over Whittlesey Blue Star at Broad Lane, keeping their dreams of a treble well and truly on track.

Striker Ian Bradbury bagged a brace for the hosts, with Andy Law, Tom Panton and veteran Lee Hudson also on target.

With every other Premier Division game called off due to snow, Moulton really cashed in to enhance their hopes of sealing the title.

In Division One, Holbeach United Reserves drew 1-1 at Thorney, while Langtoft United earned a 2-2 draw at leaders King’s Lynn Town Reserves. Andy Ellis and John Armstrong netted for Langtoft, in a result that will reignite Long Sutton Athletic’s title hopes.

Down in Division Two, Deeping Rangers A managed a 2-2 draw at Leverington Sports Reserves. Dan Evans and Sam Thompson bagged for Rangers.

Meanwhile, Long Sutton Reserves saw off Coates Athletic Reserves 2-1 in Division Three.

Two matches beat the weather in Division Five, as Pinchbeck United A drew 1-1 at home to Hampton Sports Reserves and Sutton Bridge United Reserves went down 3-1 at home to Gaultree. Substitute Tom Elderkin was the scorer for Pinchbeck.

Deeping Rangers Reserves hope host Netherton in the Premier Division tonight (7.30pm), while Moulton are scheduled to visit Ramsey on Thursday (7.30pm).
