FENWAY A couldn’t have made a better return to Aron Moyses Spalding Town League action as they raced clear at the top of Division One.
They showed no ring-rust after the month-long break from league action, blowing Lincoln Arms B away by a maximum 7-0 scoreline.
It’s the third game in a row that Fenway have triumphed without dropping a point – and they’re now nine points clear of the rest.
Nick Moyes and Tim Halifax both managed 18-dart legs for the title hopefuls.
Elsewhere in the top flight, A Farrall and D Bashall both hit 180s for Hole in The Wall B, but saw their side edged out 4-3 by fellow club side Hole in The Wall A.
Nick Stevens also plundered a 180 for Lincoln Arms A, but they were crushed 6-1 at Drayman’s Arms A.

It’s now nine out of nine for the leaders, as their 10-8 success at Fenway A sent them seven points clear of the rest.
The other form team in the top flight are Elizabethan, who have turned their season around.
Ann Parker threw a 135 in their 10-8 victory over Blue bell B, which moved the Whaplode Drove side up to third in the table.
The highlight of the clash went to Blue Bell’s Shelley Gillingham though. She checked out with an impressive 125.
Meanwhile, Dawn Wright managed three 140s as Dun Cow drew 9-9 in a thriller with Riverside.
• Holbeach & District League: Division One leaders New Saracen’s Head C maintained their three-point lead with an emphatic 18-3 win at Horse and Groom C.
Mark Horspool and Pete Richardson both nailed 180s for the table toppers, while the former managed a stunning 12-dart leg.
Tigers A are their only realistic title challengers – and they just edged past Five Bells C 11-10.
Kelvin Crane arrowed a 180 maximum for the high-fliers, while John Walker checked out with 130 in the decisive final showdown with Colin Seaton.
In Division Two, Alex Gostic’s stellar show wasn’t enough to derail Five Bells A in the top of the table clash.
Rose and Crown A ace Gostic hit a 180 and threw a 16-dart leg, but the Tydd side stole his thunder as they prevailed 14-7 to take over at the top.
Legion B’s Nick Horspool also peppered the treble 20 to rack up a maximum 180, but saw his charges beaten 12-10 at home against Horse and Groom A.
