THE deadline for entries in a major art exhibition is looming.
Professional and amateur artists from South Holland have until next Monday to submit their work, which could then be selected for display from February 29 to March 6.
Chosen pieces will be shown in the function room at the South Holland Centre, Spalding.
South Holland district councillor Nick Worth, executive member for community development, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for artists to showcase their work.
“Standards have been very high in the past, but this shouldn’t put off new artists wanting to have a go and we look forward to seeing an array of excellent art.”
Up to three pieces of work can be submitted per artists, in a range of media including 3D, photography/digital, oil, pencil, pastel, watercolour, acrylic and gouache.
