UPDATE MONDAY 4PM A man from Holbeach was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a two-car collision in the area on Sunday night.
The man was driving a black Vauxhall Vectra which crashed into a silver Peugeot 307, containing two adults and a five-month-old child, at Peppermint Junction on the A17 at about 8pm.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman confirmed the man was taken to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, with minor injuries and the road was closed for a while before being reopened just after 10pm.
The occupants of the Peugeot, including a 34-year-old driver, were from the Nottingham area.
Anyone who saw what happened should call police on 101, quoting incident number 408 of December 17.
MONDAY 12 NOON A motorist had to be cut free from their vehicle by firemen after a two-car crash on the A17 in Holbeach on Sunday.
It happened at Peppermint Junction where a Peugeot 207 and a Vauxhall Vectra collided at about 8.23pm last night.
Fire crews from Holbeach and Long Sutton attended the scene where they used hydraulic equipment to release the driver of the Vectra before making both vehicles safe.
