Spalding Indoor Bowls Club’s A team beat Boston 119-88 in their latest Lincs League Division One fixture.
Graham Smith’s rink lead the way with a massive 38-5 victory, closely followed by Scott Dunham’s set (30-12).
Paul Simpson’s rink also won by three shots, with Rob Aves’ team held to a draw. John Needham’s set faced a Boston rink in form though, losing by 34 shots to 11.
It mattered little, with Spalding taking 15 points out of a possible 18.
• Alan Pitts captained Spalding’s friendly bowlers to a narrow 134-132 loss against Boston in their final game of 2012.
It was a good effort by visitors Spalding, who won three and lost three of the six rinks.
Their best winning performance came from Jan Sinclair, DavidHall, Maggie Wheatley and skip Roger Perkins.
