Dave Piccaver banged in two 180s as Black Lion maintained their 100 per cent start to Spalding and District Darts League.
Team-mate Kelvin Crane also got a maximum as the Division One leaders crushed Jolly Farmer A 7-2.
However, Hank Watson had a decent night for the Moulton Chapel side, claiming the only singles win – against Daniel Carnell – and the only doubles win (with Ben Warner), with Carnell again on the losing side.
Ash Allen, of Lamb and Flag A, also threw a maximum in the 6-3 win at Horse and Groom A. Bill Hodge had a nice 121 finish for the Holbeach side.
In Division Two, Abbey Hotel’s Nicky Rostron was on the 180s trail too, but was beaten by Jolly Farmer B’s Sharon Boldy.
Meanwhile, the previous week, Mark Horspool put on a display of “television darts”, according to his New Saracen’s Head C captain Brian Fines.
It actually came in a game against his daughter, Casey, but he showed no signs of mercy.
Horspool Snr’s 3-0 win included a brilliant ten-dart leg – going 140, 180, 131 and bull.
lPinchbeck and District League: Graham Parker clinched Riverside B’s place in the second round of the Knockout Cup in sensational fashion.
With the match poised at 3-3, it came down to the final match-up between Lincoln Arms A’s Alan Harris and Parker.
The Riverside player took the first leg with 14 throws and snatched the second with 15. It gave him a brilliant 34.55 average.
Five Bells marched through 7-0 against Five Bells, Roy Newsome top-scoring with 160 for the winners.
lHolbeach and District League: Five Bells C’s Bert Seaton had the two top scores of the night against Tigers A, but it wasn’t enough to beat Kelvin Crane.
Seaton threw a 180 and 165 but Crane won it to make the score an unassailable 11-6.
The final 13-8 result was sealed with Charlie Bond’s straight-legs win over John Naylor.
In Division Three, Malcolm Branning had a neat 113 finish for New Inn.
