Following a year of dominating the 1300 Stock Cars, new National Points Champion-elect Dan Booth finally has a championship roof colour to his name.
Booth’s domination on shale this year saw him comfortably qualify for the World of Shale Championship on pole position – and from the drop of the green flag at Sheffield on Sunday Booth surged into a lead he held to the finish.
Booth, who is from Pinchbeck, will be in action at King’s Lynn this Saturday (6pm) at the Norfolk Arena for the annual big fireworks meeting, which features pre-70 Bangers, 2L stock cars and the lady banger Gold Roof final. Tom Yould (Donington), Nick Houghton (Pinchbeck), Will Longford (Moulton), Simon Goodale (Moulton) and mother and daughter Bridgett Woolley and Suzie Lambe (Gedney Hill) are all competing.
