An elderly man has been taken to hospital after a crash between a car and a pick-up truck in Bourne earlier today.
It involved a Kia Picanto and a Mitsubishi L200 which collided at the A151/A15 roundabout, near Northorpe, at about 12.20pm.
The injured man, who was travelling in the Kia, was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, for treatment.
The A15 from Milestone Road towards Northorpe is still closed and drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible by using another route.
MONDAY 4.30PM: Man injured in lunchtime collision in Bourne
A man has been injured after a crash at the A151/A15 roundabout in Bourne today.
Roads were closed at the junction of Bourne Road and Milestone Road after the crash, thought to have involved two vehicles, which took place at about 12.20pm.
There are no details about the injured man as yet but the A15 was closed near Northorpe and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
