FAMILIES are invited to Natural England’s Wash National Nature Reserve to learn more about what lurks beneath the surface of our coastline.
Love our Ocean Day – The Hidden Wash takes place on Friday providing a chance to get involved and find out more about marine wildlife by taking part in activities including a microscope tent, a beachcomber table, a strandline hunt – search the strandline on the reserve for some wonderful discoveries, a great egg case hunt, ocean in a box and crab door guard.
The event is from 11am until 3pm at the Wash National Nature Reserve by the East (Sir Peter Scott) Lighthouse, near Sutton Bridge.
